Our Standard Kit Does Both Sides of the Axle, and Includes:
- Raw Metal Brackets, Grade 8 Mounting Hardware, Spacers, and 11 9/16" Vented Rotors.
Kits With Calipers Does Both Sides of the Axle, they include the above
- Kits that are ordered with the parking brake style calipers also include the flexible stainless steel brake lines, and cable housing extension tubes. ***SEE NOTE BELOW FOR INSTALLATION***
- Kits with non-parking brake calipers come with the flexible stainless steel brake lines.
Kit Options Allow You to Upgrade Your Kit to Include:
- Calipers with Pads in Black Powder Coated Finish
- Black Powder coated brackets.
- Performance Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Important Note for Installation
- To verify you are ordering the correct kit, measure your drum backing plate bolt hole spacing center to center on either your spindle/axle housing flange and compare to our spacing diagram.
- Works with C-Clip Eliminator Kits.
- Fits most 15 Inch and Larger Disc Brake (not drum) Style Wheels.
- Only fits 6 x 5 1/2" Wheel Lug Pattern
- When converting from drum to disk. You will need to cut and re-flair your existing hard brake line or bend new ones. These are not supplied.
- You may have to get new parking brake cables made to finish the install, we include with the parking brake caliper option, some standoff tubes so you can try the stock cables.
Replacement Rotors
Fitment
15" Z85 LS Mag wheels will not work with this brake kit.
2009-2012 trucks with the ZQ8 Suspension (AAM860 Axle)
- You will have to notch a bracket to fit the speed sensor
- You may need to get custom parking brake cable made. You can try www.controlcables.com
The issue: The AAM 860 axle has the speed sensor oriented differantly, this casues interferance with the bracket, and also orientes the caliper back and down. The stock parking brake cables are to short.
